The Imncrew ransomware group has allegedly targeted Asia Pacific Network (Apntelecom), a Texas-based premier provider of VoIP services. Apntelecom is a significant entity in the telecommunications sector, offering Tier-1 carrier services to the US and other continents. With a major facility in Los Angeles and offices in the Philippines, the company plays a crucial role in supporting the global call center industry, making this alleged breach particularly noteworthy.
Following the initial claim, the ransomware operators have now purportedly published data allegedly stolen from the company’s network on their leak site. The publication of data, marked by a “Time’s up!” message, suggests that any negotiations for a ransom payment have failed or were not initiated. The attackers have made the data available for download, posing a significant risk to the company and its clients.
The leaked data allegedly includes a total of 167 GB of internal data.
